This amusement park is owned and maintained by LVMH so it’s as chic as you’d imagine, complete with gorgeous vintage rides, beautiful gardens, and peacocks roaming freely. Depending on the time of year, you can also find a visiting circus or theater performance.
In the heart of Paris situated between the Carrousel du Louvre and the Place de la Concorde on the banks of the Seine. you’ll find this quintessentially Parisian park, complete with beautiful ponds where you can rent tiny sailboats or feed the ducks (a particular thrill for very little ones). There is also a traditional carousel and in-ground trampoline, plus a playground with the steepest climb to a slide I have ever seen.
This is a small but charming museum in the 4th arrondissement, dedicated to the history of magic. A unique collection featuring optical illusions and magic objects, they also host magicians throughout the museum who offer explanations and show the kids tricks.
Place du Tertre, Montmartre
Place du Tertre is the main artists’ square in Paris, a stone’s throw from the Sacré Coeur and at the very top of the hill. It dates back to 1635 when it was the central square for the village of Montmartre; Pablo Picasso lived just around the corner. It’s touristy but fun for little art lovers, don’t miss the opportunity to get the kids’ portraits drawn.
The Eataly of Paris but so much better, with cuisines and delicacies from around the world. The perfect stop to assemble a delicious DIY picnic, or simply wander the aisles to work up an appetite.
Laduree
Established in 1862, Laduree remains the pinnacle of French pastry. Particularly known for their macarons, the menu has now expanded to breakfast, brunch, lunch and even dinner, although my favorite is the Grand Brunch, featuring towers of fresh fruits, sweet and savory pastries, and of course mountains of macarons in the most iconic setting.
A delightful department store with a fantastic kids’ floor. High-end and trending apparel, plus toys and gifts little ones will go wild for.
